💻 System Requirements

⚙️ Running the Application
Once you have downloaded the application, follow these steps to run it:
- Unzip the Downloaded File: Locate the downloaded file in your Downloads folder and uncompress it.
- Navigate to the Directory: Open your terminal or command prompt and change to the directory where you extracted the files. For example:
- On Windows:
cd C:\Users\<YourUsername>\Downloads\microservices-lab
- On macOS/Linux:
cd ~/Downloads/microservices-lab
- Start Docker: Ensure your Docker application is running. You should see the Docker icon in your system tray or menu bar.
- Run the Application: Use the following command to start the services:
This command will pull all necessary images and start the services defined in the docker-compose.yml file.
- Access the Application: Open your web browser and go to
http://localhost:8000 to see the application in action.
🔍 Support & Troubleshooting
If you run into issues, here are some common troubleshooting steps:
- Docker Not Running: Make sure Docker is running before you start the application. Look for the Docker icon in your system tray.
- Port Conflicts: If port 8000 is already in use, adjust the port in the
docker-compose.yml file and restart the application.
- Environment Variables: Ensure you have set necessary environment variables as outlined in the documentation or
README.md provided in the extracted folder.
